If you simply can't take another measure of house beats, this Six Degrees gathering might be more your speed. Turntables on the Hudson's legendary selector Nickodemus ups the soul quotient, while Six Degrees label founder Bob Duskis sets a new standard for eclecticism, mixing contemporary electronic sounds from around the world — Brazilian hip-hop and funk carioca, kwaito, kuduro, and more. Six Degrees' Jef Stott rounds things out with a live set of electronic beats from the Arab world, complemented by live oud and percussion.

Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels label continues to pick up steam as it lines its roster with the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Jennifer Cardini, 3 Channels, Silversurfer, and Luke Solomon. For a London label, it also has an unusually international character, drawing from Berlin, Paris, and even Chile. Today's session in a lesson in overcoming jetlag, with bleary-hour sets from Lazarus, Pier Bucci, Dinky, Jamie Jones (of the recent smash tune "Panic"), and more.

With headliners including West Coast disco renegade DJ Harvey, Berlin's deep-tech trio Innervisions (made up of Dixon, Âme, and Henrik Schwarz), spiritual-house visionary Osunlade, and an all-star cast of house heroes — Marques Wyatt, Andy Caldwell, Fred Everything, Julius Papp, JT Donaldson, and Charles Webster — it simply doesn't get deeper than this. This is the kind of lineup that Miami was made for.
