New York's Robots crew is only three years old, but it's already known for throwing some of the city's best underground techno nights. Beginning as a weekly at Café Deville, migrating to one-offs at Love, Pacha, and Canal Room, and finally settling into a monthly residency at Cielo, Robots' nights have routinely set clubbers on their ears with the likes of Michael Mayer, Ellen Allien, Superpitcher, Dandy Jack & the Junction SM, and François K. For its third annual WMC party, Robots brings in Tiefschwarz, who're celebrating the release of Ten Years of Tiefschwarz, a mix CD and remix compilation exploring the crates and career of the heralded masters of dark, sexy electro. Residents Bill Patrick and Nick Ac round out the night.
