Think about this for a moment: when Winter Music Conference got its start in 1985, Chicago house was in its infancy. In fact, it was about the same time that DJ Pierre, Spanky, and Herb J were twiddling the knobs of their TB-303, forging the roots of acid house. Now, two decades after the release of their seminal "Acid Trax," DJ Pierre brings his new Afro Acid Project to Miami to kick off WMC, aided by Ron Carroll, Harrison Crump, and others.
