CHI #134: Cover Design Credit

Artwork by UNDOBOY

Originally from Malaysia, Undoboy now resides in New York City. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Ringling School of Art and Design in 2005, he worked as an interactive designer at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami before becoming an art director in the New York office of JWT.

Undoboy is influenced by Japanese designs, an influence he attributes to growing up with manga and Japanese/Hong Kong pop culture. Along with his design influences, he highly respects fine artists such as Andy Warhol, and is obsessed with icon and character design, with gradient colors being one of his trademarks. He is currently producing his own line of toys called Super-Bastard, set to launch on the market by the end of 2006. Additionally, Undoboy has created a collaboration group with his friends, Sarah Labieniec and Ryan Meis, to work on design and illustration projects. This group, called "Enjoy," is centered on the dual purposes of motivation and pursuing self-initiated works.
