Born in San Francisco, Amanda Marsalis is the product on an airline marriage. Her dad is a pilot and her mom, a flight attendant. True to her itinerant parentage, Marsalis has traveled the globe, camera in tow. She graduated from California College of the Arts in 2001, and her photos have since been published in Vice, Tokion, WIRED, and Fader. Her work has also appeared in ad campaigns for HP, Visa, and Nike, among others. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
