Australian Bill Henson had his first solo exhibition in 1978. His shots are regularly staged during daylight's waning moments, and often feature adolescent models whose age and posture give the impression of a childhood abandoned or corrupted in some indeterminate way.
Henson is one of the featured photographers in the V&A's Twilight: Photography in the Magic Hour exhibition, featured this week in Flavorpill LDN.
