SHEPARD FAIREY
Best known as the creator of the internationally acclaimed OBEY sticker and art campaign, LA mainstay Frank Shepard Fairey is one of the world's most infamous street artists. In addition to displaying his work in galleries around the country (and streets around the world), the artist is also the founder of LA design firm Studio Number One.
This piece, "Chinese Soldiers," is a 13ft x 20ft mixed-media collage and hand-painted stencil on wood, currently on display in the artist's Rise Above exhibition at Merry Karnowsky Gallery.
