LA #212: Cover Design Credit

Artwork By IRVING NORMAN

Working and living in LA for more than 50 years, Irving Norman infused a sense of social realism into wildly abstract caricatures, redefining our sense of the figure.

As described in the current issue of Flavorpill LA, a retrospective series in honor of what would have been the artist's 100th birthday, Dark Metropolis: Irving Norman's Social Realism, is on display at the Pasadena Museum of Art.

Check out other Flavorpill cover designs this week in NYC, SF, CHI, LDN, and MIAMI.
