SF #263: Cover Design Credit

Andrew Paynter is an LA-/SF-based photographer, art director, and curator who shot San Jose band the Mumlers for this issue. After college, he began shooting photos in New York City, leading him to photograph bands like Les Savy Fav, Blonde Redhead, Death Cab for Cutie, Tortoise, and the French Kicks. Not only is Paynter very much drawn to creative individuals, but he's also ever in search of creative environments. He has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, Japan, and Europe photographing lines, shapes, and spaces.
