Through their design alias Kozyndan, Los Angeles-based duo Kozue and Dan Kitchens explore the tenuous state of the modern world. Gazing romantically at a bygone way of life, Kozyndan focus on cultural disconnectedness from the environment, from nature, and from each other. Kozue and Kitchens both completed BFAs in 2002 and have since been featured in publications as diverse as Vogue and Giant Robot. Their popular and provocative work has also become the focus of exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Japan, and Australia.
