LOGIK ONE

Logik One, a New York resident by way of Minneapolis, is intrigued by themes of historical and cultural identity. He creates characters — at once shady and neurotic, brave and innocent — that seem to want to escape from the canvas.

Combining traditional techniques and illustration methods with impulsive painting styles, graffiti elements, and comic-book narrative devices, Logik One is relentless in application and anarchic in process. Everything he employs is reusable, from found scraps of cardboard to white-out pens.

He recently held his second solo show at McCaig-Welles Gallery, and has exhibited at numerous locations throughout NYC while being commissioned for both private and public collections. He's currently featured in the Dactyl Foundation's From A to B group show.
